Schick Shadel Hospital is seeking an Administrative Assistant (PT) to assist the CEO, Director of Human Resources Director/Risk Manager and other Department Directors as needed.  The  candidate must be able to maintain confidentiality, be personable, detail oriented, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be skilled in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. 

Schick Shadel Hospital, is a 60 bed alcohol and substance use disorder hospital located in the outskirts of Seattle, Washington, that has been providing successful chemical dependency treatment since 1935.  The hospital, which claims the "#1 Success Rate" in treating alcoholism, bases its success on its unique and powerful counter conditioning treatment program.  The hospital provides medical detoxification and an intense, short stay addiction treatment program for alcohol, marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, prescription opioids and heroin (smoked and snorted).


Job Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

Provide administrative assistance to the CEO, Director of HR/RM and other department directors as needed.

Assist with recruitment and processing of new staff members upon hire.

Assist in maintaining personnel files.

Responsible for processing information to appropriate persons.

Attend hospital meetings as requested and be responsible for completion and distribution of minutes.

Assist in other tasks as designated by the CEO or Director of HR/RM.

Provide administrative assistance to other departments as required.



Applicant must be a high school graduate with some college preferred.

Must have 3 years experience as an Administrative Assistant, preferably in a medical setting.

Must have an interest in the treatment of substance use disorders.

Basic knowledge of Human Resources desired.
